Setting up the headset
- On the headset, ensure that the power is switched off.
- With the boom closed press and hold the Multifunction button until a solid blue light turns on, then release.
- With the light still lit, open the boom to put the headset into discoverable mode.

Setting up the handset - This will vary from handset to handset but, is still very similar.
- 1. On the handset, press Main Menu.

- 2. Scroll to Settings and press Select.

- 3. Scroll to Connection and press Select.

- 4. Scroll to Bluetooth Link and press Select.

- 5. Scroll to Add Audio Devices and press Select.

- 6. Press YES to Bluetooth is off. Turn Bluetooth on?

- 7. Once the headset is found, scroll to Motorola HS850 and press Select.

- 8. Press YES to the Bond (pair) with Motorola HS850? message.

- 9. Enter the Bluetooth PIN of 0000 and press OK.

- 10. You should now be connected to your Bluetooth headset
