Example of how to pair Motorola V3xx to Motorola HS850

Setting up the headset

  1. On the headset, ensure that the power is switched off.
  2. With the boom closed press and hold the Multifunction button until a solid blue light turns on, then release.
  3. With the light still lit, open the boom to put the headset into discoverable mode.

 

  Setting up the handset - This will vary from handset to handset but, is still very similar.

  1. 1. On the handset, press Main Menu.

  2. 2. Scroll to Settings and press Select.

  3. 3. Scroll to Connection and press Select.

  4. 4. Scroll to Bluetooth Link and press Select.

  5. 5. Scroll to Add Audio Devices and press Select.

  6. 6. Press YES to Bluetooth is off. Turn Bluetooth on?

  7. 7. Once the headset is found, scroll to Motorola HS850 and press Select.

  8. 8. Press YES to the Bond (pair) with Motorola HS850? message.

  9. 9. Enter the Bluetooth PIN of 0000 and press OK.

  10. 10. You should now be connected to your Bluetooth headset
