Beginning May 4, 2007 Cingular-AT&T is encouraging customers with the Sierra Wireless AC860 or AC 875 data cards to update the software in the device.
Sierra Wireless AC860 / AC875 Software Upgrade - May 2007
Beginning May 1, 2007 Cingular-AT&T has released new software updates for the Cingular 8525 and Cingular 3125. Customers are encouraged to download and install this upgrade. See complete information at: Cingular 8525 and 3125 Software Upgrades Available
Beginning January 6, 2007 - All customers with a BlackBerry Pearl (8100c) and older version Package 4.2.0.84, Software Platform 2.2.0.40, Application 4.2.069 are encouraged to download the upgrade (Package Version 4.2.0.88; Software Platform 2.2.0.41; Applications 4.2.0.71) at www.cingular.com/bbdownloads. Instructions are provided on the website.
To verify the current software version in your device, go to: Settings > Options > About and check the BlackBerry Pearls's current software version.
This should correct:
- An OK button might not appear in the dialog box when you receive a Call Me Alert
- If you receive a PTT CAll Me Alert, your device might not display the Call Me Alert
- If you are using the PTT application, your device might display a call timer that should not be visible during PTT calls.
Effective December 7, 2006 - All customers with a BlackBerry 8700c with older version software (Package 4.1.0.175; Software Platform 2.0.0.90; Application 4.10194) are encouraged to download the upgrade (Package Version 4.1.0.529; Software Platform 2.0.0.152; Applications 4.1.0.377) at www.cingular.com/bbdownloads. Instructions are provided on the website.
