Hawk Electronics continues to be the official cellular sponsor for the city’s very popular American Association Minor League, Fort Worth Cats Baseball Club in 2008.

The Cats have been playing baseball in Fort Worth since 1888, and over 50 members of the Baseball Hall of Fame have played at the Cat’s home LaGrave Field, either on their way to the major leagues, or during big league exhibition games. LaGrave Field was rebuilt in 2002, on the same spot where the original ballpark stood. This season’s opening game is May 10th, with special guest, Country Music Hall of Famer Charley Pride singing the National Anthem, and throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
