TELETOUCH & HAWK ELECTRONICS DIV. RETURN AS OFFICIAL WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SPONSOR FOR THE 2008 CROWNE PLAZA INVITATIONAL AT COLONIAL PGA TOUR GOLF TOURNAMENT.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS-May 12, 2008 - Teletouch Communications, Inc. (OTC
Pink Sheets: TLLE), a leading U.S. cellular, two-way radio, mobile
electronics and related services provider, today announced that the
Company is returning this year as the official cellular and wireless
communications sponsor of the upcoming 2008 Crowne Plaza Invitational
at Colonial PGA TOUR Golf Tournament, being held May 19-25 at the
Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
Teletouch is providing fully integrated wireless
communications support infrastructure for the event using both cell
phones and two-way radios. The Company's retail division, Hawk
Electronics will be providing cell phones to Colonial tournament staff
for transporting visiting players and VIP's. In addition, this year,
Teletouch's Two-Way Radio Services division will participate by
providing the primary wireless communications infrastructure, hardware
and services for the tournament, including over 250 state-of-the-art
Motorola® two-way radios for tournament staff, signal boosters and
repeaters, as well as certain data services on the Company's own
DFW-based network spectrum.

the primary wireless communications provider for the tournament,
utilizing all aspects of Teletouch's capabilities, in both cellular and

subsidiary, Progressive Concepts, Inc. dba Hawk Electronics. "Virtually
all tournament staff, including tournament officials, score keepers,
club security and grounds crew will be using Teletouch provided
Motorola radios on Teletouch's 450Mhz radio network with Passport®
switching technology located in the DFW Metroplex area."
Hyde continued, "Given our success with last year's tournament
sponsorship, we are taking the opportunity this year to significantly
increase the awareness of our complete wireless communications'
capabilities with our many enterprise and government customers, who
attend or follow this event."
The 2008 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial will have a $6.1 million
purse with the winner receiving nearly $1.1 million. Also, 25,000
points will be available toward the new PGA TOUR FedExCup season-long
competition. CBS Sports, a 30-year broadcast partner with Colonial,
will continue to provide weekend coverage, with The Golf Channel
providing early-round coverage.
